Nytt byggande i en ny tid
Det byggs för lite och för dyrt i Sverige, och säkert också i Norden och övriga Europa. Byggkostnader löper efter de uppskruvade priserna på bostädsrätter och villor. Produktivitetsutvecklingen är nära noll. Detta drabbar framför allt ungdo- mar, pensionärer och ensamstående som deltar i den breda gruppen som repre- senterar småhushållen. Med ökad konkurrens, fler lokala aktörer och framförallt ett industriellt träbyggande ser vi möjligheter att skapa den marknad som vi idag saknar för bra bostäder för småhushåll.
Boka upp i din kalender 30–31 augusti 2012, då genomförs denna konferens som även tar upp aspekter om energi, produktionen i småhusföretag, arkitektur med mera. Tillsammans med konferensen arrangeras en utställning, där olika aktörer kan presenterar sig. Här finns det fortfarande möjlighet att vara med, se kontaktinformation nedan. Parallellt sker invigningen av Södra Tennishall, en av Europas intressantaste träbyggnad med 36 meter frispända limträbalkar i en byggnad med 15 kWh/m2 och år.
New construction in a new age
Building in Sweden moves slowly and is expensive; a problem that most likely exists in the rest of Scandinavia as well as Europe. The building costs trend with inflated housing prices and leaves a productivity growth rate at next to nothing. This affects primarily our young people, senior citizens and single persons who make up the category of the small household. With increased competition, more local actors, and most importantly the industrialization of timber construction we can create the market that provides good homes for small households.

The inauguration of Södra Tennis Hal is also happening, one of Europe’s most impressive timber buildings with 36 meter free-standing laminated wood beams with an output of 15kWh/m2 per year. |
